DC’s kids and schools have made incredible growth over the last few decades. We have been at the forefront of rethinking public education through one of the most robust systems of public school choice, first in the nation growth in reading and math, unprecedented access to early childhood education through universal Pre-K, and strong investments in post-secondary pathways including career-connected experiences in High School.
These pillars combined have created educational experiences for DC students that set them up to thrive, from Pre-K through high school and beyond.
